Breaking it Down

Ciocco & Co. is a case study of a business specializing in chocolate-covered fruit, created to be part of a packaging workshop with the Spokane branding company, Maker & Made. In addition to a creative brief about the product’s target audience, participants in the workshop were provided with assets such as fonts, a type-based logo, and a die shape for the pillow pouch structure.

I expanded the brand’s color palette and created illustrations that conveyed a sense of playfulness and whimsy while paying tribute to the product’s ingredients. My special addition to this design was a separate sleeve that included information like ingredients and nutrition facts, rather than printing it directly onto the pouch.
